Welcome to GoGo Acting Workshops!
GoGo Acting Workshops are casting director workshops run by BETH GEIGER and SUZANNE GUTIERREZ. It is a place where actors can network, learn more about auditioning and not be just another face in the crowd. GoGo Acting Workshops is friendly, intimate (22 actors or less) and always educational. TIME
Saturday MORNING Workshop – 10am – 12:30pm
Saturday AFTERNOON Workshop – 1:30pm – 4:00pm

FORMAT
The casting director begins with a Q&A with the actors. Next, you are paired up with a scene partner and given sides. We take about 15 minutes to work on the sides and then come back into the room. Your scene partner will be your reader and you will be a reader for your scene partner. You will be performing your scene alone on stage.
However, we leave the format ultimately to the casting director. If the casting director chooses to do paired scenes, you will be paired with a scene partner the day of the workshop. Or, the casting director may choose to be the reader. The casting director will run the workshop to his or her preference. If there isn’t a preference, then the scenes will be performed with a reader (as mentioned above). ***Please check the calendar under each casting director to see the format for that particular workshop.
WAITLIST
If a spot opens up and you are on the waitlist, you will be notified via email or phone call. Payment confirms your spot. You may also show up the day of the workshop. If there is an open spot, it will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. We require a 48 hour cancellation notice. Your spot is secured once payment has been made.
