We take about 15 minutes to work on the sides and then come back into the room. Your scene partner will be your reader and you will be a reader for your scene partner. Sometimes the casting director chooses to be the reader for the scenes. Either way, you will be performing your scene alone on stage. However, If the casting director chooses to do paired scenes, you will be paired with a scene partner the day of the workshop. Ultimately, the casting director will run the workshop to his or her preference. If there isn't a preference, then the scenes will be performed with a reader.
